Welcome to the stranded traveler lounge! You look weary fellow traveler, make yourself comfortable, grab a drink, and relax. Take a breath, in this brief moment everything is fine.

This is a collection of anecdotes and short stories, found or written based on experiences and ideas I had during my travels, or when I inevitably ended up being or feeling stranded.
The lounge is a refuge for anybody, a meeting point for whomever happens to stumble upon it, whoever happens to be stranded in space and time at this very moment: The person who missed the last train home, the group who got stranded after a flight cancellation, or any fellow lost souls, surrounded by people, yet lonely, or who are simply lost in life.
Traveling gives one the sense of going somewhere, especially when one does not know where one is going, be it in a physical or metaphorical sense. Maybe someday we will find a direction and the things that have eluded us for so long, and we will feel alive again.
